Game Objectives

New Maths Curriculum:

Year 2: Recall and use addition and subtraction facts to 20 fluently, and derive and use related facts up to 100

Year 2: Recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 2, 5 and 10 multiplication tables, including recognising odd and even numbers

Year 3: Add and subtract numbers mentally, including: a three-digit number and ones; a three-digit number and tens; a three-digit number and hundreds

Year 3: Recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 3, 4 and 8 multiplication tables

Year 4: Solve addition and subtraction two-step problems in contexts, deciding which operations and methods to use and why.

Year 4: Recall multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables up to 12 × 12

Year 5: Solve addition and subtraction multi-step problems in contexts, deciding which operations and methods to use and why

Year 6: Solve problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Year 5: Multiply and divide numbers mentally drawing upon known facts

KS2 Primary Framework:

Year 3:

Derive and recall all addition and subtraction facts for each number to 20, sums and differences of multiples of 10 and number pairs that total 100 (Block A, Block B and Block E)

Add or subtract mentally combinations of one–digit and two–digit numbers (Block A)

Derive and recall multiplication facts for the 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10 times–tables and the corresponding division facts; recognise multiples of 2, 5 or 10 up to 1000 (Block A)

Multiply one–digit and two–digit numbers by 10 or 100, and describe the effect (Block A)

Year 4:

Add or subtract mentally pairs of two-digit whole numbers (Block A)

Derive and recall multiplication facts up to 10 × 10, the corresponding division facts and multiples of numbers to 10 up to the tenth multiple (Block D)

Year 5:

Use knowledge of place value and addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers to derive sums and differences and doubles and halves of decimals (Block A)

Recall quickly multiplication facts up to 10×10 and use them to multiply pairs of multiples of 10 and 100; derive quickly corresponding division facts (Block A)

Year 6:
